"The River Is Deep"

A L O H A
Welcome to a Lazy Sunday in Honolulu
F R I E N D !

He says that the river is deep,
never writes his poetry down.

But he carried moldy canvas
stuffed with type-written pages
across decades - and continents.

And so it has been,
deep that is.

And should it flow
another continent or two,

or just a handful of tomorrows,
the river has been deep,
sweet & daily,
with sparkles of eternity.

Our river is deep
indeed.

Thanks for visiting!

ALOHA, cloudia

I thought you had Fall, dried leaves on the ground, but that didn't make sense....they're fallen flowers! DrumMajor

Rivers of poetry need not be, nor can be written down. It is simply the nature of water.

The stream of a river is like our life.
"- tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further... And one fine morning-
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past"

I liked the flowers on the ground! And I love the poetic river that can't be written down.

As I always say, "Don't push the river, it'll flow by itself"! Lovely poem. Happy Sunday, cher!

The deepest rivers are the most fun to swim in.

poetry is the spring of life, a never ending river, deep and slow, fast and light, but always life-enhancing.

Lovely poem.

Lovely photos too. I have spent some time in Hawaii, and when I look at your photos, I feel as if I am there again. :-)

Once there were two Königskinder deeply in love with eachother, apart because of a river nearly as deep. She lived there, he here and couldn't swim - dived into the floads anyway, like poetry i feel as love is worth dying for - many times.
A wonderful week for you - great entry of yours !
