Rain Rain Tangerine

A     L     O     H     A   !

" People who learn
 to control inner experience
will be able
to determine
the quality of their
lives,
which is as close
as any of us can come
to being happy."

Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

"  Soft pity enters
 an iron gate. "

William Shakespeare

" Certain things catch your eye,
But pursue only
those that capture

your heart. "

 Native American proverb

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Rain Rain Tangerine
the world you paint
looks quite marine
as if the skies vent down their spleen
our eyes, our hearts are yearning
for sunshine Tangerine.

Honolulu's complaining
they all want rain to go
but I grew up back East
and know:
it may be gloomy
but be grateful it's
not snow!

Diamond Head
covered with white
not green!
What a scene
O Tangerine.

Patent the poem and the sky! Blue sky in Kansas today with sun, temp up to 7 degrees, wind stopped blowing the 12 inches of snow, so the snow removal guy is happy! DrumMajor

Diamond Head is white? I thought that just happened to Moana Kea on Big Island. Is it ice or snow crowning Diamond Head, or clouds?
My brain is frozen.

Rain is always a welcome guest but sometimes it stays just too long.

EG and Hillary: You BOTH pointed out that the sky was TANGERINE!
I was playing with words,
while playing with those
pictures, and, well,
Rain Rain Tangerine =
Periods of rain, but
tangerine sunset, so like
my poem says: I send you ALL warm wishes for a safe winter. I got no complaints.

Thanks EACH of YOU

The word Tangerine at this moment reminds me of Mandarine oranges as we are celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year till 14th February :)

So the sky isn't quite red but close enough to make the sailors happy.
