Beautiful photos,
Have a nice weekend.
A strange and unique coupling of aphorisms, pain, listening, and youth--maybe I will play with all of them and find a way to--(hardy har har) not be cynical today.
I like the Chaplin quote
Didn't realize I was playing with pain. I thought I was just laughing to cover it up. What an awesome hospice thought, too!

Your quotes fit today! I agree, except when it comes to hubby. Sadly, the fact that we're from such different heartstrings, pops up. Your quote on playing with (that issue)or pain is just wonderful magic! Time to play away!
Also I love how you play with your photos.....that first one, makes me wish to row away too! Such a peaceful capture.... lovely, very lovely.
The flower pics today were amazing, and the quotes really spoke to me.
Wonderful flowers; and the deep Ray Charles quote!
lovely blooms!
Beautiful shots from paradise, Cloudia!
I know that when I'm working well on writing I do forget how old I am and all the aches and pains.
i agree with hemingway...most people are too busy thinking of what they want to say next to listen to much of anything...

Each of your visits and Cheers me!
Thanks SO much :-)
Listening really is an art Cloudia, I think you and I are artists oui :) Have a wonderful weekend mon amie.
These colours are all so heavenly!
Joy in work and the fountain of youth appeal to me greatly Cloudia.
Hemingway didn't follow his own excellent advice very well. Listening, really listening, is surprisingly difficult.
Laughing at myself is very easy though...
Ahhh... Ray Charles' quote is perfect, isn't it? I can't understand how people wonder why God has forsaken them because He didn't save them from a particular disaster. It bothers me even more when people say God saved them from the tornado or whatever. Are you saying He preferred you to your neighbors? Sigh.... I get tired of that.
