The sōrin is an interesting object. They can be on top of a building or stand-alone. It would be an interesting art object here in the US. In looking for more pictures of them I found one on top of a cellphone tower in Japan.

If Anne Frank could find happiness in her hiding place, surely we can find it in our lives even in lock down. That is a great Rumi quote, too, and it goes nicely with that mural on that utility box.

Funny thing on Sunday as I got inside my car on a hot but breezy day at 4 in the afternoon, I saw that it was 91 degrees in September am I in Hawaii? Unbelievable weather for the moment.
