A L O H A From Honolulu!
We must have the stubbornness
to accept our gladness in
the ruthless furnace
of this world.
Jack Gilbert
Not a poem of begging,
but a sweeter song,
Of young troubadours,
Of young troubadours,
where they don't belong.
A hat in hand
for coins to chime,
Busking dreams learning
One note at a time.
Busking dreams learning
One note at a time.

About being a chicken!
These are feral chickens who live free around Honolulu. I like these fellows with the bold
stripes among their black & white siblings.
I call them "The Wild Ones"

How I love Albert Einstein's ideals. Mine too. A work in progress.
Values that you and I share deeply. What a pleasure to have a supportive friend like you! Aloha
I've never seen hens with that colouring. The wild ones are very interesting.
Pixie wants a belly rub.
Hello,
I have never seen buskers looking so young.
Love the cute chicks and Pixie is always a favorite.
Happy Memorial Day! Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week!
...Amen, Sister!
Those buskers look a bit sad, Cloudia. Love the chicken. ;-)
To do good is a good religion.
I think I'll make it mine, too.
The photo of the children so touched my heart . . .
Blessings, Cloudia!
Wonderful post!
Have a fantastic new week
I'm with Pixie. I love that boy band, although it looks like they might still be learning to play their instruments. "The Wild Ones" is a great name for a boy band; maybe the feral chickens can teach those kids a thing or two ;)
Wonderful T! Each of these comments is a wonderful gift and I so appreciate seeing you my friends. Aloha!
A most entertaining post. Love the quotes and love the photography. I love seeing Pixie.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to Pixie. ♥
The kids basking is a peaceful image
I am totally in love with Pixie's sweet white furry belly!
Great post. Really like seeing the boys in that photo. Have a nice evening.
Loved the 2nd photo the best!
Cute boys.
And great quotes again.
Cute chicken, too!
Thanks for sharing the lovely photos! Pixie is gorgeous. Happy T Day, Valerie
That's fascinating that there are feral chickens. Their chicks are cute. And those boys don't look too thrilled like their parents are making them pose. Grin. I hope you have a great T day.
Thanks, Cloudia, for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/05/cat-trap.html
Kindness, beauty, and truth. Einstein was a wise man. Those darling "troubadours" made a great photo.
Underage drinking. I've seen several teens who turned into alcoholics when they became adults. I do LOVE those feral chickens, though. That made a great shot for T this Tuesday, dear Cloudia. Thanks for sharing.
Cute buskers and even cuter Pixie. I just want to rub her tummy!
Feral chickens? I have never seen those. I don’t think we have those in Spain. They have nice colouring/ pattern too.
As always I love your quotes.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Einstein's quote about beauty is fitting for the beautiful Pixie. Her eyes are so mesmerizing. Happy T Day
Albert E. was brilliant. Love Pixie, but today the chickens win. How fun they run all around free. Something or someone would eat them here. We have tried to have them a few times but something ate them each time. So sad. Great post as always. Happy T-day and hugz
such a cute pussy cat! I've seen a chicken eat a mouse in one glup! I was sure I came to visit earlier, but must've for got to click the comment! Happy Late T Day!
