Meditations In Nighttime

 A L O H A  From

H  O  N  O  L  U  L  U

Transforming Night
Paints everything essential
With qualities of darkness.
Time pools in corners
Where day never comes.

Secrets
speak in
falling leaves.

Between streetlight
and shadow
Truth shifts
Like water.

My understanding
softly glows

Like moonlight

on a gentle rose

Each generation
in this country gets the
responsibility of being the
ambassadors for this
American democracy that
our parents and grandparents
fought, bled, and died for. Sheldon Whitehouse

All the world
is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust. J.M. Barrie

The ambassador quote seems rather appropriate for these times.

Thanks friends!

The tree is actually well away from that opening and infinitely shorter than it looks compared to the building. Thank you for your comment on this photo!

The Ambassador is where we used to stay when we went for Robotics. Your pic made me smile. Great shot with the palm tree and the building and the light coming thru the drops of water. Lovely stuff #TravelTuesday

Lovely pictures and poems and one quote whose wisdom seems to have been forgotten by those 'in charge' of our country these days. Continuing to look on the bright side and your beautiful nature photos and Pixie certainly help. Thank you.
