Pygmy Proverb

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Leo F. Buscaglia

The heart is very much

like the sea, it has its storms,

it has its tides, and

in its depths it has

its pearls too.

Ring the bells
that still can ring
Forget your
perfect offering.
There is a crack
in everything,
That's how the
light gets in.
            Leonard Cohen

A dream may twist,
a dream may bend,
And still bring beauty
in the end.

 A problem
difficult at night,
is resolved
in the morning
after the committee
of sleep
has worked on it.

One Eye. One Flower.

Fower looking back.

The flower knew something

That eye could not call fact.

One eye holds the sky;

one flower holds the day.

The eye remembers

what the flower teaches:

Open!

Open all the way!

Other people

have secret sorrows.

Private worries that

cloud their tomorrows.

You don't need to know

what they are.

Just shine on them

with your secret star.

People are like

stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine

when the sun is out, but when darkness sets in,

their true beauty is revealed only if there is a

as old as your fear;

as old as your despair.
