Stars Weep Sweet With Joy

A L O H A From Honolulu!

The only way we can
make the most of our lives
is to make the most
of our moments. Cleo Wade

Grand Rising
Letting go is a lifestyle change.
It's where you build
a habit of noticing
when old stories, anxieties, and
defensive tendencies are rising.

Then, you choose to step out of
those behavior patterns, reset,
reconnect with the present, and
embrace new possibilities.
L Wayne Kenney

The Trick

A L O H A From Honolulu!

San Francisco Bay Area, Marin
We are cups, constantly and
quietly being filled. The trick is,
knowing how to tip ourselves
over and let the
beautiful stuff out.
Ray Bradbury

Sometimes the nicest thing
you can do for another is to
give them space with a smile.

Like a Sunbeam

A L O H A From Honolulu!

I don't want to get to
the end of my life and
find that I lived just
the length of it.
I want to have lived
the width of it as well.

To escape from the world
means that one's mind is
not concerned with the
opinions of the world.

They're gone.
I let them chase me.
I led them like a sunbeam
and vanished like a shadow.

Comforting Embrace of the Expected

A L O H A From Honolulu!
Every culture dances to
it's own internal rhythm,
weaving threads of festivity
into the seasons, spaces for
shared experiences, and markers
of introspective renewal. Yet,
as much as I savor the
effervescence of the holidays,
a curious pang of anticipation
tugs at me as normalcy returns.

The gentle hum of routine,
like a well-worn melody,
holds a comforting charm for me.
Routines are the building blocks
of a life.
The purposeful hiss of morning buses
returning folks to their
daily endeavors–
these eternal
everyday scenes resonate
with a quiet beauty.

Watching children
off to school is a moving testament
to life's cycles of growth and learning.
Each returning kid, each
familiar face, whispers a
reassuring "life goes on."

The comforting embrace
of the expected, the quiet
reassurance of life's
resilient pulse, herald a season of
renewal, fresh canvas to paint.
Life's unpretentious glory
unfolds anew.

The chief beauty about time is
that you cannot waste it in advance.
The next year, the next day, the
next hour are lying ready for you,
as perfect, as unspoiled, as if
you had never wasted or misapplied
a single moment in all your life.
You can turn over a new leaf
every hour if you choose.

The Year Ignites With Fresh Delights

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Kiss of sun and breath of rain,
The year's first rainbow
Joins the game
Where hope with
color intertwines,
With dreams reborn
on sunlight's vines.

For in this arc,
so briefly bright,
The year ignites,
with fresh delights.

Waikiki whispers,
First steps on
sun-kissed sand today,
Aloha Spirit calls.

The stories we tell ourselves
about ourselves become
the truths of ourselves.
But we can change them!

Covey Of Quail

Our view of events and

of ourselves can evolve.
Begin to discern a new
story about yourself,
then tell it to yourself
- SING it to yourself -
every day!

ELF:

Notice the bumble bee, the

May Laughter infect you;

May your arms
