Lobby Mural
Castle Hospital, Oahu
by Bob Flint, 1997
I like the multi-generational,
multi-ethnic/cultural mix of folks
in this mural. The local
Ko`olau Mountains are
a familiar backdrop.
This image says a lot about our
family-centered lifestyle
on this "country" side of
the island.
It says:
"Aloha. We local too.
No worry, eh?"

We just visited Dominican Republic, so many tourists from many parts of the world!
Loved you post! Yes, interesting places of much diversity, Jenn. Thanks!
We need more murals and attitudes like that in the world. No us and them but only us.
It's quite a thoughtful, appealing mural.
Lovely mural and so true ~ would be wonderful if we could live out the concept ~ thanks,
Happy Week to you,

Aloha!
It's beautiful!
It's a delightful mural!
Beautiful mural. Nice post.
Gorgeous mural!! I have a friend who did a mural mosaic of people in the community like that in a local hospital. It was an amazingly long and detailed process.
I like it very much too Cloudia, if only that feeling of brother/sisterhood was more widely spread around the world ✨
Your comments brighten my day. Thanks friends!
It seems like a warm hug to welcome all. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
Great mural! Missing Hawaii every single day.
