Autumn is the season

when cathedrals of

memories are built.

They become palaces of light,

amid the falling leaves. Jayita Bhattacharjee

Yellow flowers are the brightest and most optimistic of all, spreading sunshine and happiness wherever they go.

Just another normal day on another normal street— a child skips ahead, an elder rests her feet. Some of us hurry, some take it slow— life stages passing as we come and go.

Luna

You need not be full
to be lovely.
Even a sliver of you
reminds me
change is not always loss.

You do not hurry.
Neither must I.
Some nights
your company is enough:
a little room for mystery.
You keep no calendar
of my mistakes.

I'll let the day go.
You keep the night.

Luna above.
Quiet within.
Dear Luna,
I’m still becoming.
