I have met
a few big names.
Be cool is my policy.
They know who they are.
I treat everyone the same:
with Aloha. Of course,
when it is a person who's
work you admire, you can
say that. I appreciate your work.
I encourage everyone.
Chris Rock, having his morning coffee
after a show in Honolulu, gave me
an eye that said: "Please. No
coffee yet...." so I passed him by.
Morgan Freeman's granddaughter
took a nice picture of him and me.
I told him how much I enjoyed
his work, and that even in a movie
that is purely entertainment,
and not a FILM, he always
brings a nice gravity to the screen.
"Wow thanks!" He liked that.
Well enough name-dropping.
The point is: great people,
are often humble, real people.
They are not offended to be
treated like a friend.
But I have noticed a certain person
who has achieved a certain notice
who is offended when you are not
fawning over them. Hugely
successful folks who's work
far exceeds mine, have treated
me as a peer in the work.
But the smaller they are,
the smaller they are.
Consider the present,
and most recent
US Presidents for an
instructive example
of both types we are
talking about.
So be BIG!
Be Warm!
Be Humble!
In short: Share the
A L O H A.
You'll be glad you did.
It's what the world,
and each of us,
needs now.
We are all peers
in the work of Life!

I don't think I have ever met any 'big names'. I have met (and cherished) some very big people.
Nice photo's, I like doggie :)
Hello, Cloudia!
Lovely capture of the egret and the lovely sky shots. Be humble, that is my motto.
Thanks for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend. PS, thank you for the comment and visit to my blog!
Between Claudia and I, we've met a couple of 'famous' people.
That first sky shot wouldn't have been out of place here yesterday.
Beautifully said mon amie, I agree absolutely ✨
Your comments warm me! Thanks friends
Love your words today, Cloudia! I've met a few celebrities but seen many more that I didn't pester - they want to be normal sometimes too.
Such a beautiful set of skies!
