You May Think

A L O H A From Honolulu!
You may think that you
are completely insignificant
in this world. But someone drinks coffee
from the favorite cup
that you gave them. Someone heard a song
on the radio that
reminded them of you.

Someone read the book
that you recommended, and
plunged headfirst into it. Someone smiled after a
hard day of work, because
they remembered the joke
that you told them today.

Someone loves themselves
a little bit more, because
you gave them a compliment.
Never think that you have
no influence whatsoever.

Your touch, word and good
deed which you leave behind
cannot be erased. Anonymous

Happy Year of the Cat!     Link

I hope that in the new year
all people and all animals

I do feel insignificant. Thanks for the nudge that there are other ways to think.

Words to remember on days when you feel down.
Love that family with the children that all look like their mother so much.

We have all sorts of impact, don’t we? For example: You taught me something today: it’s the Year of the Rabbit in most of Asia, but in Vietnam, it’s the Year of the Cat. Why? There are many inconclusive or obviously wrong answers, but no one really knows!

Excellent thinking. It's the little things that most of us can do.

Thanks for the visit. I am happy to visit back.

I often tell my friends with children that even one word of disapproval can out weigh 10 words of praise. Therefore parents should praise often and discipline ONLY when the child has been very bad, not when they have done something silly.

EC told me two weeks ago about this being the year of the cat, so I was delighted to see you went with the Cat rather than the traditional Rabbit like I did.

LOVE that mural. Isn't that one of the Missions?

Fabulous quote Cloudia! I had no idea it was also the year of the cat, I only knew about the year of the Rabbit.
Lovely mural too, thanks for participating in Monday Murals Cloudia.
