Pausing By

A L O H A From Honolulu!

There is a difference between:
Rushing through, passing through, and pausing. 'Rushing through' shows some sights, 'passing through' reveals even more but 'pausing' makes us part of the scene,
rewarding & revealing what we never noticed before.

Find a place where there's joy,
and the joy will
burn out the pain.
Joseph Campbell

If you can feel that
staying human
is worthwhile,
even when it can’t have
any result whatever,
you’ve beaten them.
    George Orwell

Don't worry about what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs are people who have come alive. Howard Thurman

Grey skies are just
clouds passing over.
Duke Ellington

Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. Mark Twain

I didn't comment last night because I thought you might comment right after Sue (Elephant's Child) because she's BACK!

Mark Twain and Pixie knew exactly what to say today. That's a great mural, too, Cloudia.
