Be Lucky

A L O H A From Honolulu!

See the magic in everything. Sometimes it seems to be hiding but it is always there. The more we can see the magic in one thing, a tiny flower, a mango, someone we love, then the more we are able to see the magic in everything and in everyone. Where does the mango stop and the sky begin?
  Joshua Kadison

Every true genius is bound to be naive.

Friedrich Schiller

A well-ordered life
is like climbing a tower;
the view halfway up is better
than the view from the base,
and it steadily becomes finer
as the horizon expands.
William Lyon Phelps

When you stop
chasing the wrong things...
you give the right things
a chance to catch you!
Tony Robbins

You will always be lucky
if you know how to make
friends with strange cats.

According to the Honolulu Star-Bulletin,
prevailing local lore credits the gesture to Hamana Kalili of Laie, who lost the three middle fingers of his right hand while working at the Kahuku Sugar Mill. Kalili was then shifted to guarding the sugar train, and his all-clear wave of thumb and pinkie is said to have evolved into the shaka as children imitated the gesture.

I am pondering about the quote that every genius is bound to be naive. That is such a quote!

Its the look in our brain. Is the glass half empty or half full. But nice weather helps in the decision.

The pics all fit so well with your quotes today, Cloudia. We are hoping our clouds disappear so that we can see the solar eclipse this afternoon. Not looking like it will be clear. ;-)

Hi Claudia! My granddaughter and I were discussing how it is so hard to keep the magic in our lives; the mundane can suffocate it. I am reminded to continue to keep my focus on magic, beauty and wonder in my life. Thank you.

What a great photo of Pixie today. And boy, that crane is really high. I don't think I'd want to be up on that. :) Have a wonderful T day and enjoy your week.

Loved Pixie's photo today and that awesome quote about cats. I hope to never chase the wrong things, but only time tells in that respect. I LOVE the coke and the Shaka image that evolved. It's a wonderful entry for T this Tuesday dear Cloudia.
