That photo of the Pacific White Tern is a beauty.
The tern is a beautiful bird.
I think Pixie is trying to patiently wait for dinner, watching you as you move around the kitchen for the moment when she see signs of her own food coming.
Cat looks happy enough.
I guess that is true about metaphorical peaks and valleys.
