The article about the Dole pineapple cannery (that you linked to) is very interesting. The old Hawaiian products of sugar and pineapples were really produced in a fascinating way. We toured a sugar plant once before Maui shut down all sugar production.

I like those old fashioned commercials, especially when they are used for a mural. We find them here too but not about pineapples of course. Interesting story about the Dole
I visited the Dole pineapple farm in Maui once. There's a terrific restaurant on site.
