Parchment Pages

A L O H A !

“I had always found comfort

 in the leaves,

 in their silence.
 They were like

 a parchment

that holds words

of wisdom.
Simply holding them

 in my hand
 gave me

some of the peace

a tree possesses.
 To be like that-

to just be-

that's the most noble

 thing of all.”

 Silas House,

A Parchment of Leaves

Traction Refraction

A   L   O   H   A  !

When

has our Dark Side

ever

been convinced

to surrender

by arguments ?

It is the simply the nature

 of our adversaries

[the devil, gravity, choices]

 To provide us with

Resistance

 That gives

to our higher

aspirations:

The

Traction needed

For moving

Up the

Way.

Used YESTERDAY:
  " Great heroes

 need great sorrows

 and burdens,
 or half their

 greatness

goes unnoticed. "

Peter S. Beagle

Don't take it

 personally;

that way

  you avoid

99%

of the pain.
