very special Person

A  L  O  H  A !

“ Perhaps
 the most "spiritual" thing
any of us can do
 is simply to look
 through our own eyes,
 see with eyes of wholeness,
and act
with integrity
and kindness. ”

  Jon Kabat-Zinn

" Until you have formed the habit
 of looking for the good
instead of the bad
there is in others,
you will be neither successful
nor happy.  "

Napolean Hill

 “ Looking back
 you realize
 that a very special person
 passed briefly
 through your life-

 - and it was you.
It is not too late
 to find that person
 again. ”

 Robert Brault

What do
Y O U

elicit from
OTHERS
?

At the end
of your
day

Have you
added
to the World's
Peace
or discord

Is the sum
total
of YOUr
interactions
with OTHERs
on the
Positive
or Negative
side?

Smiles shared,
eye contact,
patience,
small kindnesses
maintain
the
Balance of the world.
" Better do a good deed near at home
than go far away to burn incense. "

Amelia Earhart
Thank YOU
for
YOURS!

I love this. And I think I add a touch of silliness to the world. I try for kindness as well.
Have a wonderful day.

I agree with all these sentiment Cloudia and j'adore the way that you've imaged them! They say that charity begins at home, I think kindness should also.

I have so worn myself thin volunteering this week, with very needy clients. I do so love your wise words.

I sort of felt the wish to comment that I do realise that it is important to impart morale around one, by seeing the positive, complimenting things that deserve to be complimented, etc, but on the other hand, it has been demonstrated again that most people do not learn/remember things/get better skills very easily the "good way", but rather, (somewhat politically incorrect, I agree), out of fear of punishment and disapproval...and no, this is not an idea created & promoted by the fierce Catholic school nun-teachers..it was demonstrated on live & totally secular students as well ! But, of course, I do count my blessings that I, personally, am NOT in a position of educator or of leadership..so I can allow myself to be nice most of the time, sometimes, I fear, too nice, with occasional undiplomatic outbursts, when I just plain get tired of the sustained effort of being nice and making things as comfortable as possible for others ! (being a habitual people pleaser trying my best these days to undergo a degree of required reform of my "ways", in order to function in a more balanced way at work as well, not only outside of it, where I can allow myself to be as lazy as I actually want to be)
