Me & Diamond Head
“I live in my own little world.
But its ok, they know me here.”
Lauren Myracle
Driving across the G.G.
"I have two homes, like someone
who leaves their hometown
and/or parents and then
establishes a life elsewhere.
They might say that
they're going home
when they return to see
old friends or parents,
but then they go home as well
when they go to where
they live now.
Sarajevo is home,
Chicago is home."

From what I understand there is a paint crew that starts at one end of the bridge and paints to the other end ... and then start back at the beginning. They paint none stop.
I once walked to the top of Diamond Head. It was quite an experience that I am glad I had. I have driven across the Golden Gate a few times over the years and last year was on a boat that took me under it. Incredible sight!
Both are spectacular. I am not surprised they have claimed spots in your heart.
Hello, they are both beautiful. Lovely places to call home. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
The Golden Gate Bridge is indeed breathtaking. There's lots of beauty in the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge too
Yes, the Bay Bridge is a wonder - and older than the golden gate bridge.
Thanks so much friends for making my day!
Both iconic, one man made, one nature made, both incroyable!
Cool pictures! Love the landmarks of your life.
You have 2 lovely homes, Cloudia!
Magnificent takes on both these landmarks!
Such lovely photos, and interesting facts, I believe you're getting to enjoy your new California home, (a favorite city of mine) and nice to see you, I especially like your hat in the driving photo! Quite stunning.
I've never been on it (or to Cali) but I hope to some day
Your thoughts propel lots of heart
Thanks so much friends
