Pixie was hoping to see a drunken monkey bitten by a scorpion. She's a bit disappointed to have missed the fun show. Love the hibiscus high today.

Oh boy ... your wisdoms sure hit home in this day and age and I agree, fellow survivors have a different meaning when you get to be my age. Your pictures are gorgeous, especially the flowers and, of course, love to Pixie :)

Loved the hibiscus high and the fellow survivor. Beautiful shots and great quotes, but those two caught my eye today. Along with beautiful Pixie, of course.
Your first quote reminds me of a Tom Waits line in one of his songs:
