Rejoice with your family
in the beautiful land of life.

Maybe there is
no such thing as rain;
there are only raindrops,
each with its own story.

Embarrassment lasts
a moment, regrets
last a lifetime.
                Petteri Tarkkonen

Happiness is
The hush after thunder
In the orchard of quiet things.
I'm a creature of peace
And of wonder
Appreciating what life brings. My heart is
not swollen with longing
nor shrunken by regret,
I'm steady as a lantern
Continually reset.

A powerful reminder that it's often better to take the risk, face the momentary discomfort, and act—because the pain of wondering "what if" tends to linger far longer than a fleeting blush of embarrassment.

Love your poem and would also love to see a plethora of rain drops.

The cup and the straw, refresh. That's what we need to do when a new day begins, Refresh!

I love the lines "hush after thunder" and a heart that "is not shrunken with regret." You have a wonderful way with words. The vista behind Pixie looks like a postcard!

I truly believe "regrets last a lifetime." That spoke to me, as did your impressive poem. And the view you and Pixie share is magnificent.

I like the Refresh on the cup but fear it is abandoned trash. Thanks for these moving quotes and wonderful photos you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear Cloudia.

loved the poems and the thunder one reminded me as a child, while playing in the fields, we lived on a farm, the whole day went suddenly quiet...no wind, no birds singing...nothing then it got darker and we all looked up wondering what was going on, then decided to get home as quickly as possible...and suddenly the heavens opened up, the wind went wild and the rain poured down... weird! Have a happy T day day ((Lyn))

My dog Pete agrees with your lovely poem. The quiet after a thunderstorm is good. He's not a fan of thunder. Have a wonderful T day Cloudia and give Pixie a pat for me.
