Havaianas, the iconic Brazilian flip-flop brand, was created in 1962, inspired by the Japanese Zori sandal. Havaianas replaced the Zori's straw sole with rubber and added a rice grain pattern, a nod to its inspiration. The name, meaning "Hawaiians" in Portuguese, was chosen to evoke a sense of tropical paradise and vacation. Initially sold in blue and white, Havaianas became a staple for Brazilian workers and eventually gained global popularity. The Kombi is a fine car to attract attention. It is good that such a business has been operating for such a long time.
Pixie looks like she's ready for a road trip to sell some Havaianas in a VW Kombi van! That would be a beautiful thing!
