After a rainy Saturday, the sun smiled out again on Sunday. A one day winter, huddling cozy indoors is fun and restorative. Then Spring and Summer return to Waikiki - it's a day at the beach! So before I go out to play, I'll leave you with a little poem called:
Landmarks
Brooklyn Bridge
and
Diamond Head
are friends.
Ships look to them
so do birds and clouds.
Both remember horses fondly,
as jets fly
overhead.

A day on the beach? It's perishing here, I wish I was coming with you.
I like that pineapple water tower.
I'm with Travis. That pineapple water tower is precious.
Something like that, well-designed and elegant, thrills me so much more than a lot of so-called Installation Art. That is installation art to my way of thinking.
a pineapple water tower? that's cool!
Like the idea of the themed water tower. How easy navigating around town would be if that was picked up on...you know; a big saline drip over the hospital, etc.
Ake: I wish you were here gigling with me!
Travis: Yeah, me too! So dumb to take down a landmark like that, eh?
Charles: You just used "precious" to make me laugh Dr, Pepper out of my nose, didn't you? ;)
Dave: YES! Folk art triumphs!!
Kiw: Aloha, so NICE to see YOU!
Brother T: I like the way you think!
The pineapple water tower is neat. But I sure would enjoy a couple of days at the beach, languishing in the sun...
Barbara M: Did you know that he pineapple water tower was close friends with the young CN Tower!
