is a deep and powerful yearning
for union with one's lost self.

and they never make me sad.
Perhaps there is just a touch of yearning at times;
but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers."

but also a pretty good place to hide out from hard truth."

I wondered if the loss of
YEARNING
was something to be mourned.
After writing it
and reading your comments
I began to think that perhaps
my yearning is simply
being
satisfied.
Maybe,
I thought,
there are new signposts
leading me to a destination
that is nearer than ever before.
What if the kingdom
is nearer than we dream?
What if it is at hand
not tomorrow
but in our hearts
right this very minute?
Perhaps we enter heaven
when we dare to believe
and to
let go
?
May this young year
bring you a new kind of wisdom.
May you begin your life in heaven
even as we fight the traffic,
pay the bills,
and create solutions.
Dare to believe
that all is working out
-even as you effort-
and you will become
untouchable . . .
. . .As your influence
expands.
Aloha, dear heart! cloudia

I see a running dark gray bunny in the midst of your clouds, and the rainbow reflected in the water is stunning!

To yearn is to free your heart's desire.
Cloudia,
pls visit my main blog.
One of my photos was stolen and misused.
I want photographers to be aware that all online pics are easily downloaded and misused.

Now we have reached the same page and speak the same thoughts, twins are like that.
I love it. This year I am working on letting go as well!
Just what I needed after a sleepless night of wrestling with disappointment and sorrow. You are a delightful friend to share the morning coffee with.
Such beautiful images and thoughts. You brighten the morning, my friend. :)
....Oy. Sorry, dear friend, but your man Jay just annoys me. Most of my life, people like that have been telling me, stop dreaming, get your head out of the clouds, work hard, join the army, blah de dah. But yearning has led me to most of the truth I've found.
i like the quote by Helen Keller.
There's nothing wrong with a little yearning. :)
Nice quotes and pictures.
Aloha
Lovely thoughts words and photos! Aloha!
I'm not as wise as Helen Keller. I dwell a lot on my insufficiencies.
I love the pictures, and this post made me think. Thanks for giving me food for thought!
yearning is productive of wonder untill it's not?
Cloudia-this is great. I learned long along ago there are things you can live with out and letting go makes life so happy.
