It felt weird.
But I had to do it.
Plans were made,
greeting snacks and pictures
were carefully scheduled to
post.

Then I put my computer away
for a few days.

Like an addict
my thoughts turned to all the juicy
blogs
and bloggers
that I was missing.

Was Walking Man
awake through the Detroit night
channeling poetry?

How is Daryl's new promotion going?
Is she still visiting so many blogs?

Is Weaver still coping with English snow?

Is Wenn posting from Malaysia today?
Dina from Jerusalem?
Marguerite from Cajun Country,
Reader from Holland,
Claude from France?
And what of Akemalu's cruise pictures?

It doesn't feel right
to miss your wonderful blogs,
and yes, that includes YOU
SHAY,
and all the others
who I will
groan
to have left unmentioned here.

Each of you has become an important part of my day,
my life,
my heart.

Thank you for visiting me here,
and for your kind indulgence
even when I run into the jungle
and disappear from the web
for a few days.

Everything
is OK.

Except that I missed you!

Now I'm off to catch up. . .

ALOHA! cloudia

Apparently we are addicted to each other and to blogging.
Thanks for your visit. I am not in the warm sunshine of Australia now, but in snowy, icy, slippery Holland! More is the pity, Cloudia! But Australia is far too hot for me from November till May. When I go to Oz it's in our summer.

I miss everyone when I'm gone, too!

There have been times when I haven't been able to read anybody's blog for a week or so -- much less write on my own. It is amazing how these total strangers seem like good friends after a while and just get under one's skin.

sometimes it just feels right to be away from a computer. We have all made such wonderful friendships here. Such a delight and adds a wealth to life!

I didn't know you'd been gone a few days when I called you yesterday. So...where the heck did you go? Some place exciting, I hope!

As soon as I read the word compromise, I knew the next lines would have to include marriage! :-)

Glad you're back! I need your sunshine, please!

I can relate. I've been so busy lately, and posting less often and not making it to all my favorite blogs. (like yours!) I missed you too!

It is always a much needed "escape" into your spiral, that keeps me awake, about ten hours in front of your time.

Please have you all a wonderful Wednesday.

Sometimes it's nice to keep ourselves away from the virtual reality but it keep us missing our fellow bloggers..their thoughts, pictures, latest adventure or anything and everything that keeps the virtual relationship exciting.Glad you're back Cloudia.

Thanks for the wonderful quotations and pictures for today.

P.S.
Eversince I started my photoblog, your site is already included in my blogroll.
