Aloha, Friend
Here are a couple of shots from the "excitement."
Here is a shot by neighbor Ted Trimmer
showing dozens and dozens of boats leaving the
Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor
ahead of the predicted Tsunami wave last Saturday.
When a recent TV news story replayed video shot during the emergency
the sound of the sirens wailing caused Miss Kitty to immediately look up: "Not Again!"
Thanks for visiting! cloudia

Are the waves in your photo just the normal for the boat harbour or are they the tsunami coming in? I am sure the tsunami waves must have been much higher.
its great that everyone took sensible precautions and there was not loss of life apart from in Chile as far as I know.
Oh, I was wondering about you! Good precautions taken by everyone. Good to see you again!
thanks you two!
glad it ended up being little...guess better to take the precautions.
Thanks for sharing your excitement, Cloudia. So glad you're safe.
I said some little prayers for you all when I heard about the tsunami...so you can thank ME for those tiny 3 ft waves... LOL

The waves looks big. When I heard the news I was so scared because some of my relatives are living in Hawaii and Philippines had a tsunami alert too.
I thought of you and Regina ( a photoblogger from Hawaii too). Glad that both of your are safe.
Have a great weekend my dear.
May GOD keep everyone safe :)
It wouldn't feel too good to be taking a sailboat out to sea in a wave warning! So much apprehension for the owners-
Hope most of the vessels faired well.
The sea is the best place to encounter the waves.
scary stuff!

Indeed!
Thanks
Thankfully you escaped the tsunami waters.
