When we are at our home at Lake Tahoe the tall pines stand stately next to my windows and I love it. I can feel their energy.

I'm with Mr. Gramlich -- I saw the orange blob of baldness before I saw the face you figured in. My trees have all pooped their leaves on the ground, and the snow is coming to spit on them. But my hibiscus canes are all trimmed and tucked in for the real winter. They know I love them ('cause I talk to them,) and come around every May. Just how often do you talk to all those trees? Most trees and scrubs down here in OZ start flowering around this time of the year. The smiling tree made smile :-).

Well they better be where I saw them last. I hold the insane idea sometimes that they sneak off to a nearby bar, or that might be me, I get confused sometimes.
I just love the face in that tree! Our trees are brave souls at this time of year!

Our trees are bare now. They stand stark naked waiting for the first snow now. Last year we had a thick layer of snow at this date.Now the sun is shining after a week of stormy winds and rain.

I have a tree outside my window at work. The leaves are all dead but they have yet to fall. Its remarkable to me.

My trees are dropping fruit (breadfruit, avocados)which we are not around to consume. I hope the neighbors are keeping up with the bounty.
My trees are frowning and shivering. They feel totally naked without their leaves :) They whispered they wished they were in Hawaii!
