Hawaii in Winter

A   L   O   H   A  !
" The duty of happiness
becomes clearer
when we see how it affects
 others.
 It is the merry heart
that makes . . . other hearts merry.
The sunny soul
brings sunshine
 everywhere.
A bright and happy temperament
 is a great social asset,
adding to the happiness
of the world. "

Same View - Different Day

Are YOU a Pluviophile?
A lover of rain;
who finds joy
and even peace of mind
during rainy days?

Usually, the sun says 'Goodnight"
under the cloud layer

" The health of the eye
seems to demand
 a horizon.
We are never tired,
so long as we can
see far enough. "

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Weather Fronts pass through
Hawaii
bracketed by
sparkling sunny skies
like refreshing sherbet
between courses
of a Feast!

I guess I am a pluviophile as I do enjoy the rain. You won't find me running to the car in a rain shower. Gorgeous photos and lovely quotes :)

"The duty of happiness..."I like that quote!
Next week I will be in a holiday camp and I don't know if I am able to write much, so forgive me if I fail to answer your comments.
Have a great week!

love your skies - and rain, too. :)

Show off! ;)

I do love rain.. just not in winter. Snow is less dreary when the trees are bare. Lovely images and words as always, Cloudia.

Wow, the sun is setting early these days in Hawaii. Yeah, I've heard about the earth angle, tipping stuff. DrumMajor

I'm a pluviophiletoo, as long as there's no sleet or snow mixed in.

Hawaii has awesome skies and sunsets!

Hope your Monday is great, Cloudia!

I didn't know there was a word for it but, yes, I do like rain. ;)

A gentle rain provides a delightful change of pace. It's such a good point: our being happy affects positively the happiness of others.

Peace with you, Cloudia! I feel that I'm a kindred spirit.

Aloha Cloudia, Your merry heart makes me merry everyday! Rain can be a merry happening too, but it's that white stuff they are promising for our land, but it's not here yet.

I am indeed a pluviophile - not least for the rainbows which come in its train.
Have a wonderful week.

I love warm rain - cold rain, not so much! That first shot is gorgeous.

Mom is waiting for a sunny day to hang her laundry in. The storms over the weekend were pretty dramatic. Fun though. :-)
