What a beautiful theatre it was, Cloudia! Loved the video of its original condition.
Thst looks beautiful. It's a pity that it's gone.
Our most beautiful movie theater in town was torn down a long time ago with the smaller ones too. We have one original theater left; it's used for stage plays. We also had an organ in the one at the beginning of my comment.
I hate hearing about these beautiful buildings getting demolished. It's too bad they couldn't turn it into a live theater, or something.
I wonder what's in its place now?
My SIGNS, SIGNS
We sure agree about these things, don't we! Thanks
My heart breaks a little when I hear of these beautiful buildings - especially theatres - demolished.
I think I went to the Waikiki Theatre only once and I think it was to see The Sound of Music.
Beautiful in its day. We've lost a good number of theatres in the core of our city, all while megaplexes open up in the outlying areas.
The old Time downtown theatres were so imaginative and a treat to visit. It's a shame that this one was demolished. Sad.
sad to see these old places torn down...we still have a very old theatre nearby...i love going there...it has character...

I wish they hadn't torn it down. I think it is better to save some nostalgic landmarks.
It is a pity all these beautiful theaters in many places have been pulled down. Only the memories lived on....
Neat shot. Tom The Backroads Traveller
I feel sad when such old heritage structures are brought down.
What a wonderful old theatre Cloudia, sad to see it go.. hope they replaced it with something as fabulous.
Isn't it great how we agree and found each other! <3
Beautiful shot!
Yet, I find lots of 'faults' with my friends... me too.
Old theatre's you can't beat them, we have a few they have a more comfortable feeling about them than the new ones.
