A L O H A !
I know the sound, and feel,
of hurricane winds,
their push and howling
shriek.
I have worked
twelve hours
for seven days,
week after week.
[After week]
I've felt the lava flow,
and seen it part,
known hotter burning
in the channels
of my heart.
Too young
too long
too empty of song.
I've seen it and done it
except what comes next but
have learned in that absence:
it pays to remain un-vexed.
Change is blowing
and a nice breeze it is
you will notice in time
but don't worry:

Thank YOU
for being a
precious part
of my day!

So apt of you to liken change to a gentle breeze! Mostly, it is to be savored to enjoy what is becoming!
Change is blowing when we least expect it to sometimes. Great post Cloudia and happy weekend to you.
Aloha Cloudia, Changes are good, keeping things fresh, although once our summer-like-autumn turns to Old Man Winter, well that's a change that will be rough, until the first snowman breaks ground of course! May your winds be happy, enjoy your weekend.
Gorgeous skies! Have a happy weekend!
Love the gorgeous yellow trees and beautiful sky photos! Have a wonderful weekend!
Thatis such an optimistic, exquisite poem!
The Love Riot in Brooklyn video is awesome!! That is change we can believe in... Great post. I love the progression of the pictures and the gentle breeze of change blowing from the West.
Lovely post again. Everything what you wrote is true.
Have a happy weekend
Your words suit your part of the world beautifully!
A lovely post, Cloudia!
Aloha, Cloudia. Lovely images and quotes. And I love your sweet kitty. Sometimes change is a good thing. Thank you so much for linking and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
Thanks for these fabulous encouraging comments!!!
LOVE Pixie in the bag - one of Jewel's favourite places too.
Change can be a tad scary, but is so often a very good thing. And the person you are remains, or grows. Which is as it should be.
Thank You Dear
change is scary too
Confession: I love storms. I was born in Cuba and grew up there as you know and there's nothing like a full-blown hurricane to bring me closer to a window and see the elements coming together. Of course, it is a selfish feeling. I sympathise with hurricane victims and would rather we were better prepared to fend storms off. Beautiful photo.
Greetings from London.
Nothing like a wild thunder storm after a hot humid day as long as no damage done.
Merle................
No pop quiz. That's a relief.
Fun post! Love the photos and rhyme!
