“To forget one's ancestors is to
be a brook without a source,
a tree without root”
 Chinese Proverb

“A heartful mind
can always see better
than mindless eyes”
                Munia Khan

Look! It's Petaluma Pete
 “Take a music bath once
or twice a week for
a few seasons, and
you will find that
it is to the soul what
the water bath is
to the body.”
            Oliver Wendell Holmes

"Getting lost was not a
matter of geography
so much as identity,
a passionate desire,
even an urgent need,
to become no one and anyone,
to shake off the shackles
that remind you who you are,
who others think you are."

                 Rebecca Solnit

My Uncle lived in Petaluma. I think I still have cousins there.

I don't know if I agree about ancestors. Sometimes I wonder why humans seem so focused on ancestors. I'm not sure what it tells one about oneself.

That's the first time I've ever seen a pedestrian piano!
