Thank you for your well wishes! Mom is on Oahu. Niece lives out of the rift zone - but is near the action. Nephew is sleeping on her couch. Oh yes: she has 3 kids under 5. So we are watching places and people we know. But this is the Big Island. Pele [the volcano goddess and ancestor of the Hawaiian people] is very real, very live, and spews her curtains of fire, pouring her rivers of hot lava anywhere she wants, It is awesome!
