Love the quote from Michelle Obama and the one about how to be wise. Pixie has a friend waiting under the tree to play with her.

Kabir needs to know that the crown is OK but the roots reaching your heart would kill you. It has poisonous sap.

The first photo is so pretty. Nice to see the milkweed plant, quite common here in Bangalore. I always stop and look at the crown flower, they are host plant of Common Mormon caterpillars.

Have you noticed how few monarchs there are? Those crown flower bushes used to be full of caterpillars. Now I see all those plants with perfect, hole-less leaves and it sort of makes me sad.

Have a wonderful weekend and week ahead, Cloudia.

Jolly Party Friends! LOVING each of these gifts/comments

Steve Jobs' quote is perfect. Love the crown flower. The monarchs' habitat is disappearing in N. America, their food the milkweed plant is being decimated for building structures, & the butterflies face many perils on their long journey. Who knows if they find milkweed at their destination? Ecosystems have to be in balance or no pretty butterflies,or honeybees... Life is precious & precarious. Have a great weekend all!
