Good Lazy

A L O H A From Honolulu!

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)
Shirley Ho has watched her customers
grow up and grow old within the
walls of Tasty Chop Suey. But
on June 25,
the restaurant will close its doors.
Tasty Chop Suey first opened in 1956,
Ho has been working there
since 1982.

I'm so sorry that you will be losing an old-time Chinese restaurant, but I am glad that people will be learning to relax and enjoy life. Pixie knows that secret! So does the bird on the statue.

I am sorry to hear another iconic restaurant is closing down and wish Shirley Ho the best in her next endeavours.
Love Pixie at her ease.

The last Hungarian restaurant on Bloor St in the Annex neighbourhood is closing here this month. There were a bunch of them that opened in the 50s after the troubles in Hungary and now the owners are all gone or retired. Changes.

So sad to see another loved business close. I haven't had Chop Suey in a very long time.

It's sad to learn that an iconic restaurant is closing forever. Seems that is happening more and more, especially after the COVID pandemic shut so many restaurants down for so long.

Laughed at the photo of the bird on the statue's head. You found a great quote for the photo, too.

I'm not sure I agree with Bill Gates because I have found EFFICIENT people know how to get things accomplished, even if they have to outsource it.

Loved seeing your flag with Pixie.

We have a few of those restuarants closing at the moment - it's so sad, but I guess inevitable...they want to retire....

Sorry to hear about the restaurant, but nothing has been much the same since Covid. By the time I got to the end of this post I had to laugh. You certainly know how to brighten ones day.
