A L O H A From Honolulu!
Wearing her crown of royal night,
The city breathes in jeweled light.
Streets below, vibrant streams
Flash neon signs and active dreams.
But up above, the heavens hold
A deeper magic poured in black gold.
Cloudia Charters
Animals praise a good day, a good hunt.
They praise rain if they're thirsty.
That's prayer. They don't live an
unconscious life, they simply have no
language to talk about these things.
But they are grateful for the
good things that come along.

It is native to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
With the delicacy of a flower,
love tames the most aloof hearts.

The flowers do make a positive vibe
Love your words to go with the first photo.
Is that photo of a young Pixie?
Beautiful collection, lovely sky, bird, and bloom!
Hello Cloudia,
Beautiful post, the flowers and view of the city at night look lovely.
Cute capture of the duck and the chicken family. The chicks are adorable.
Sweet photo of your Pixie.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
I love the Pixie quote about no empty gestures made with a full heart.
Pixie sees little chicks.
Your photo of the nighttime city is neat.
best, mae
I almost always like Mary Oliver's poems.
Your first photo with your beautiful words to match are both outstanding, Cloudia. Have a great weekend!
Baby chicks sure are sweet! Enjoy your weekend!
It's a great collection, but the first photo is stunning!
I believe that is! She often looks stern. So I liked this one in the pile because she looked less so. But I guess you're right. I think this was young pixie!
Must borrow this Mary Oliver quote! Thanks for the photos of flowers I've never seen or heard of...they are beautiful!
Look out chicks! I saw Colonel Sanders around the corner. RUN!
What a beautiful opening. Love the photographs.
