Angels can fly
because they take
themselves lightly

that nobody else has
is you.
Your voice, your mind,
your story, your vision.  -

August Afternoon

- So write and draw and
 build and play and
dance and live as
only you can."

We try to be strong,
you know you do,
keeping it to yourself
protecting our loved ones.

But today I said
all the things I
am worried about.
Just got them right out.

A Wonderful thing happened!
Worries shared dissipate.
And who knows, your
partner, housemate, friend,
might say one of those
simple, magic things
that makes care take wing.

That's what happened
to me today.

Now back to the
laugh and the awe
and the ahhhhh.
A thousand pounds lighter.

Thank YOU
Friend
for Visiting.
Float On!

Soaring Through The Fogbelt

A  L  O  H  A  !
"The Earth's tallest trees,
California redwoods, rely
on characteristic coastal fog to
reach their towering heights-"
                               Scientific American link

"Better than a
thousand hollow words
is one word
that brings peace."
                       Buddha

Remember, Friend:

Even eagles do not fly
straight up into the sky.

They go around in circles.

But with each repetition
they soar just a little higher.

When THAT situation
comes around again,
smile to yourself.
You are getting better
at it every time.

Keep soaring
with your feet
on the ground.

Your Visit
is Appreciated!
                Warmly, cloudia

From the Redwood Forrest

A  L  O  H  A !
Climb the mountains

and get their good tidings.
                                                John Muir

" This is their temple,
vaulted high,
      And here we pause
with reverent eye,
      With silent tongue
and awe-struck soul;
      For here we sense
life’s proper goal. -

To be like these,
straight, true and fine,
To make our world,
like theirs, a shrine;

    Sink down, O traveler,
on your knees,
      God stands before you
in these trees. "
                           Joseph B. Strauss,
                                                      “The Redwoods,” 1932
