This lovely world
is a habitrail for humans.
Along the street,
up & down escalators,
past the beach;
Our cities are tunnels
of commerce and feeding.
Of parting
and meeting.
Of parting
and meeting.
This human ant-farm-
Isn't it lovely to be
a part of it all!
Aloha Everybody!
I know we all agreed
to "not know each other'
for a while-
and that game is fun
with all sorts of possibilities.
But I could never keep a
secret;
I remember quite clearly:
We love one another!
So aloha brother, sister,

sista' When you hit Detroit hey? This not knowing each other for awhile thing, you seen it happen? Good means the connection still alive. It is an odd world we live in and a strange place that never fails to provide fascination--if we but look.
another great post ! Aloha !
Great quotes, you present them so well.
Aloha! I love the quotes.
I really like the first quote. With blogging we get to know the world as it comes to our computer and we make friends everywhere. Thanks for coming to my blog.
Your sayings are always very true Cloudia and are food for thought.

The Marilyn quote is extremely poignant. I'm saved from worrying about face-lifts and so on, by the cost involved.
Such gorgeous shots and wise quotes... a lovely way to round off my day.
I love that Marilyn Monroe quote!
Always a fine post in your neck of the woods. That Marilyn Monroe quote is kind of sad.
I love the Hawaiian golden light you capture so well. I have bipolar depression so I'm feeling really shitty today but your blog gave me a lift. Thank you so much for that.

Indifference toward the wicked is extremely difficult for me.
What great vibes today!
Another lovely post. Sad, that two of those you quote met such early and untimely deaths. Have a great evening. Blessings...Mary

It would have been interesting to see how Marilyn matured and grew as a person as she aged.
