At the Pride Parade

 What an exciting day

at Honolulu's

Gay Pride Parade!

 There were rainbow flags

 And no nags

 Celebrities paraded-

"I'm Gumby  DAMMIT!"

 Hotel workers joined in the fun

 Some found shady spots!

 Huggy Bears: Big Burly Men

need love too!

 There was something-

for everyone!

This year felt different.

Military people came

without looking over their shoulders.

The President

came out

for equal rights

to form

recognized relationships.

Hawaii has Civil Unions

for any couple

that wants to commit.

Centuries

of 

pain-

-Resolve

into 

a colorful

parade

on a sunny

day.

I think Heaven

will be like that.
