Proud

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Every path,

every street in the world is your

walking meditation path.

Nhat Hanh

Candid shot on the fly.

I never want to make anyone uncomfortable,
though anything/anyone visible to the
public is legally fair game for a photo.

So I am expert at swinging
around like a tourist appearing to
take random shots,
grabbing a snap on the fly. . .
occasionally yielding:
A Photograph.

VERY Proud of this young man.
Son of my good friends - Ohana really -
Genshu Price.

Dad Mike suggested that G collect deposit bottles
and cans to help fund his college. (G is 13)
Well, Genshu took it to the extreme the way energetic, smart, young people do when supported.

Bottles4College is a 501-c
Nonprofit that has partners at schools,
markets, and restaurants around our island!

Mom Maria Price (a WONDERFUL friend and
incidentally EXCELLENT Oahu Realtor)
took this photo on Friday Oct 1
by the Queen Liliuokalani statue
at Hawaii's State Capitol after
Genshu was recognized with an
award by the legislature!

Follow your path,

and let the people talk.

Pixie, get the dust buster!

Be proud of every scar

on your heart,

each one holds a

lifetime's worth of lessons.

That is wonderful news about Genshu Price and his supportive family.
I don't think Pixie minds a little dust.

I always love your beach shots. I do that whole pretend I'm a tourist thing too. It works.

Pixie is like, "Dustbuster??? I just laid down enough fur to make this soft and fluffy for my nap!!" Great shots today. I remember that bench and the path looking towards Diamond Head from when I was there 10 years ago...
