Beautiful, warm photos as I gaze onto the street in front of my house which would make a good bobsled run.
Ruskin lived in the UK so he must have been very familiar with days of endless grey drizzle. How could he possibly think of such days as pleasant?

I think mr. John Ruskin is wee bit too positive with the weather being always good. Apparently he has not experience Finnish winter. We Finns say; there´s no such thing as a bad weather, only poor clothing.
