At The Bon Dance

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Things seen at night
fill me with delight.
They have a "not quite"
that somehow shows
their deeper truth.

Follow this couple

to the Bon Dance!

Kimono or Hapi Coat are not
necessary to join in, but they
certainly help create
the mood and scene.

These guys were moving!

Mom, my feet hurt!

Making Memories
With Grandpa

This little girl whirled
and leapt like a top!
She was so excited!
(So Was I!)

Bon Dance Musicians

What a wonderful sadness
to miss the one you
have loved forever...
know that she is
waiting at home.

It looks like a wonderful event.
The quote under Pixie's photo yanks on my heart strings though.

Glad to see most people were wearing masks at the event.

At first I thought it looked fun, but the video proved it!
Did you dance, too? What a lovely adventure.

Cool post! Pixie looks like she wishes you had taken her to the Bon dance.

I never learned the various dances. There is the towel dance which the old guy is doing in the video. A couple of posts ago. It's beautiful to watch and I love the music and I love my community. That includes each of you. Thanks so much for joining us!!

Pixie feels knackered just looking at all that dancing.
