A L O H A From Honolulu!
Happiness, not in
another place
but this place,
not for another hour,
but this hour.
Walt Whitman
A seed grows with no sound,
but a tree falls
with a huge noise.
Destruction has noise, but
creation is quiet.
This is the power of silence.
Grow Silently.
Confucius
Sunlit center, warm and bright,
Beacon in the gentle breeze,
Splash of color, pure delight,
Floral Gift to bring you peace.
From Pixie & Cloudia
John 'Zap' Zapotocky, Age 91
The duty of happiness
becomes clearer
when we see how
it affects others.
It is the merry heart
that makes . . .
other hearts merry.
The sunny soul
brings sunshine
everywhere.
A bright and happy temperament
is a great social asset,
adding to the happiness
of the world.
Hugh Black
When pure sincerity
forms within,
it is outwardly realized
in other people's hearts.

As usual, nice work by Iz.
Lovely sky shots, especially the rainbow. Thanks to you and Pixie for the gorgeous bouquet with poetry. Pixie looks very young in that picture.
I hadn't thought about the noise of destruction and the quiet of creation before. Thank you.
Have a nice weekend.
Beautiful photos very different from the place I've been to show you today. Have a good weekend, hugs Angela xXx

Good for John 'Zap' Zapotocky, but no paddle boards for me. Sue's photo prompt for the day is jumping, but no one in this house can jump, and that includes the cat.
Hello
Beautiful images and words. The flower and your poem is lovely.
Wow and kudos to the 91 year old man on the paddleboard.
Take care, have a great day and happy weekend!
...I've never wanted to grew up!
Does a tree make a noise when it falls in the woods and... Yes, yes it does!
Love that flower shot and the words today, Cloudia. ;-)
Happiness is in the moment, not in the some day. Blessings, Cloudia!
Wow, Zap is a real inspiration!!
Great photos :-D
Thanks for the wonderful photos! I really enjoy the song too.
As always beautiful images and poems. I love seeing John Zapatocky, the old Waikiki beach boy, one of the originals who was probably on a surfboard before I was born (and I'm 73!).
Have a lovely weekend,
Lisca
I love the Whitman quote. People need to find happiness somehow right where they are.
Doing that at 91?
