Karma Burners

A L O H A  From

The art of being wise is knowing what to overlook. William James

When life takes the wind out of your sails, it is to test you at the oars. Robert Brault

Guzmania, Bromelide

 All of us are stars
and deserve the
right to twinkle.
                   Marilyn Monroe

Karma Burners Pebble in my shoe, morning spilled sleeve small annoyances whisper remind me to pause And to breathe. Each stubbing of the toe, And slow red light offer a choice: grumble, or grow Burn that karma right! Karma burns in a smile On the toughest day Patience unfolded, When you need to get away. Forgiveness for the world’s little frictions Letting steam escape So this clay pot doesn't burst. And to keep my soul in shape. Cloudia Charters

I love your poem about karma burners. When I saw the title I thought they might be tiki torches for Buddhist temples. I bet Pixie would love to relax on that Hawaiian quilt!

To Robert Brault's quote:
A timely reminder that strength is often forged in resistance. When the wind fades, our will becomes the engine.

To Marilyn Monroe's quote:
A lovely truth. Each of us carries a light within, and the world is better when we’re allowed to let it shine.

Nice that one of Robert Brault and of course the others also to see and to trickle your brain.
