Nice explanation of the Hawaiian word of the day, but unfortunately it contradicts the events of the day.
I'm imagining petting dear Pixie (or her new friend) while listening to the purr...soothing my frayed nerves. Loved hearing the children sing!

Lovely word, lovely poem, lovely pictures. At first, I thought Pixie was gazing in shock at that guy's shoes, but then I realized she is gazing fondly at a good friend.
