The flying banana
soared through the sky,
With orange-bright wings
and a mischievous eye.
It looped through the clouds
with a fruity hooray,
And painted ripe sunshine
on dawn’s early gray.
Parrots applauded,
a rainbow took note—
Then it landed like it planned it
and that's all she wrote!

Love your poem. That's a great rainbow. Laughed at the Joe Walsh quote and loved seeing Pixie sniffing the flowers.
I love the picture and ode to the flying banana :) Only you and Pixie could come up with such a creative interpretation of the photo. I think Pixie is wondering if the flowers in your home will turn into flying blueberries...
I Can't Tell You Why is one of my favourites <3 Timothy B. Schmit has a wonderful voice. Love the photo of Pixie :-D
...Joe Walsh was spot on!
Hello Cloudia,
I enjoyed your poem and all the lovely photos.
Pixie looks like she is smelling the flowers.
I love that Eagles song.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
Love the flowers you captured
I'm with Joe Walsh. Thanks, Cloudia. ;-)
I loved your whimsical poem, Cloudia, and Joe Walsh is right. Blessings!
What does Pixie smell?
Pixie takes time to smell the flowers. Gosh all of you and your comments are flowers in a beautiful garden here today i'm so grateful to walk here with you guys thanks for your support and your aloha.
Flying Bananas now are to be expected in poetry and photos from Hawaii!
Nice poetry. Joe Walsh called it correctly.
I love all of these quotes, and Pixie's adorable expression at the table, at whatever she is focused on is so cute. As was your poem you and Pixie put together for us all! Aloha Karen
I needed a smile so I came to see Pixie! Joe Walsh is probably right. I doubt I'll have more fun being 70 in the 30s than being 20 in the 80's but there's always a chance. :-)
