Savor calm
And quiet grace,
Forget the stormy
Tempest's chase.
And quiet grace,
Forget the stormy
Tempest's chase.
For in sweet stillness
Peace is found,
Here together
On sacred ground.

The Fly
God in his wisdom
made the fly
And then forgot
to tell us why.

one whom we
trust utterly.

Hello Cloudia,
Love the rainbow images and your sweet Pixie.
I love your poem too, peace found on sacred ground.
Take care, enjoy your day!
...calm and quiet sounds good to me.
Nevermind the fly, why the mosquito.
Lovely images and words...have a peaceful Wednesday!
This has a very gentle feel to it. The opening lines about calm and quiet set the mood straight away, like a pause from everything busy.
I wondered about the mosquito too, Cloudia. ;-)
It's so easy to trust Pixie. What a gorgeous shot of her, Cloudia!
Thanks dears! Such a joy to be here with you. Thank you for looking in in aloha
All the best.
We've had rain and thunderstorms! The vegetation is happy.
Wishing you and Pixie a very happy day.
Hugs to you and Pixie :)
I'm noticing Pixie's cute eyebrows.
I love the Ogden Nash poem (and the lovely pics, especially the rainbow). I think Pixie is telling Ogden that God made flies for cats to practice pouncing.
Pixie looks very pensive. Is she pondering why there are flies?
